Hubungan Pengetahuan, Sikap dan Perilaku tentang Game Online dengan Keluhan Astenopia pada Siswa SMA LAB School Universitas Syiah Kuala
Abstract
Introduksi: Keluhan astenopia merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan di Indonesia khususnya kesehatan mata yang prevalensinya pada anak-anak sekolah masih cukup tinggi. Di Indonesia saat ini masih tampak kurangnya perhatian di beberapa daerah mengenai masalah kesehatan mata khususnya pada anak. Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya program pemeriksaan kesehatan anak sekolah yang lebih difokuskan pada kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi internet, game online juga mengalami perkembangan yang pesat membuat gamernya khususnya pada anak sekolah yang menghabiskan waktunya untuk bermain game online tanpa batas waktu. Hal ini yang memicu kesehatan mata anak menjadi menurun akibat timbulnya keluhan astenopia, sehingga berdampak bagi kualitas sumber daya manusia yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku tentang game online dengan keluhan astenopia. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan desain cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Lab school universitas Syiah Kuala. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 212 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan “propotioanal random sampling” Analisa data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan perilaku tentang game online dengan keluhan astenopia p=0,033 (P<0,05), tetapi tidak terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap tentang game online dengan keluhan astenopia pada siswa p=0,243 dan p=0,277 (p>0,05).
Introduction: Asthenopia complaints is one of the health problems in Indonesia which prevalence on students is still high. Eye health problems, especially on children, receive less or lack of attentions on some areas in Indonesia. It can be seen from health inspection programs were only focused on oral and dental health. Along with rapid development on advanced internet technology, online games also have its improvements, that affect the consumers and players to spend uncontrollable amount of time on online games. These issues provide degradation on children's eye health due to asthenopia, and make an impact on qualities of future human resource. The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between knowledge, attitude, and behavior with asthenopia which related to online games. Method: The research method is analytical with cross-sectional. The study population in this research was the students of SMA Lab school Syiah Kuala University. The study sample was 212 students. The sampling technique uses “proportional random sampling”. The data analysis in this study was carried by univariately and brivarietly using a Chi Square test. Result: The results showed that there was a relationship between behavior regarding online games and asthenopia (P<0.05), but there was no relationship between knowledge and attitudes about online games and asthenopia on students p=0.243 and p=0.277 (p>0 .05). Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to maintain both of knowledge and acts, and make improvements on both, while for those teenagers with poor attitudes need more attentions and give less chance of time for them to play online games so that asthenopia will not be frequently perceived.
